Zion Lutheran Church

Organized in 1882, Zion continues to be is a vital, active and alive congregation.  Zion has about 325 Communicant adult members.  Including children, there are about 425 members.  Zion also operates a K-8 Day School, which presently serves 100 students.
Mission:
Zion will be recognized as a center for worship in the east bay.  Our mission is to serve our community.

    Zion is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod and the California/Nevada/Hawaii District.

Nationwide, there are 6000+ churches, 1000+ schools and 2.5 million members.  The Concordia University system operates ten college campuses and two seminaries.  There are also 365 missionaries in forty-five countries around the world.
